Morning ladies & gents...

Now I KNOW there are tons of PH'ers in the 2 counties yet we don't appear to be the most active lot especially compared to the Portsmouth/Southampton/Poole/B'mouth lot!

Anyway, after the recent Pub Club, the lack of anything happening round "here" hit me...So this thread is to firstly try & string together the PH'ers around the area & hopefully, if I can string enough of you together, maybe arrange for one/two Sussex gatherings before the weather turns sour seeing as we have some great roads around the area.

Anyway, don't be shy! Who are you? Where are you? What are you driving? & where can you normally be spotted?

Ooh good, some sense on this forum at last. Got fed up with all them funny speaking, carrot crunching, wife swapping, pie eating southern pansies.

Now we can have a reasoned, interesting chat amongst their cultured northern cousins (that be us/me) tongue out

Arrpp, Oiy be here, Norf of Worthing... Sounds like a nice idea. Normally if the Rally Wreck goes for a run out I go north then either Storrington or Ashington way towards the A272, Petworth... That sort of thing...

wavey

I have been out this summer & met a few folk on here, and great fun it was too (just don't offer Pete any of your chips!!).

Think I'm reasonably well known for my purple 911. I live in Brighton but for hoons I tend to go to west Sussex, out along the A283 then A272 and beyond.

We have some lovely roads & great pubs in the area, happy to help with organising if you like smile

Hi, I live in Crawley, work in Brighton.
Would be interested in meeting other PH-ers
Hoon and pub grub always good!

How about breakfast in that pub that changed hands near Lewes?
I'll add the link when I find it...

Cheers Dean

I've heard about you! (Have you not posted for a looong time?)

If you know the roads well then that would be great smile I don't get much chance to go (or maybe that I do get lazy when it comes to evenings after work!), but I have seen so many great roads in west Sussex & would love to get to know them better thumbup Evenings better, I'm really not a morning person!

I'm in this area too - sounds like a good idea, plenty of roads just a few miles north around the south downs.

Live in Durrington/Worthing area, drive a Monaro and when i'm out it'll be at the weekends and probably around the A272 somewhere !!

Well that's more like the response I was after! The original South Coast bunch only started with half a dozen to a dozen regulars & it's snowballed into the large hoons & the regular pub club meets were now used to hearing of, humble beginnings! thumbup

Anyway, great! I'm a regular up the '272, more A24, down to Fittleworth/Petworth, then pick the 272 up from there till I run out of road/petrol then decide to head back hehe My regular Sunday evening routine before work the next day.

Knight, great idea. How's Friday evening for you & everyone else? wink Maybe Old Barn nursery on the A24 as the meet point? I think that's a nice central spot for everyone to get to? What say?

Then again, if people prefer, we could do the same, but one Sunday evening? When the roads are calm & clear & we've got a gorgeous setting sun to have fun in?

On a sidenote...I'm route planning something for one very early Sunday morning currently, reconnaissance work will happen in due course for which I may msg 1-2 of you about hehe
