As per the title, any suggestions from those in the know?

We are hoping to go somewhere nice after the Sunday service for a friend's birthday, there will be 6 of us. Where would you recommend?

Thanks

Michael

Depends which side of Chichester you are but on the East side out beyond the RR factory this might be worth a look.

The Fox Goes Free is a nice pub for grub. Just north of Chichester too.

I always leave there slightly disappointed, I think the pub is possibly a victim of its own success. It's in a cracking location and get Very busy but I can't ever say the food seems to cut the mustard, I do wonder if it was not as busy they would offer a better quality and a better service as I have always eaten there peak times, Saturday nights or Sunday lunch times. That said it has a great garden, a cosy bar and is worth a visit for that alone.

This is where we ended up going and had a very pleasent Sunday lunch. The food was good and the view was lovely (despite the rain).

Thanks for the recommendation! thumbup

Me too. I saw your Ferrari outside. It was very busy but managed to find a little two person table near the bar. Got two free beers too just for leaving our email address on their mailing list.
