Get yourself to Goodwood, they will test you at any point, might be worth calling to make sure there is someone there who can do it before turning up though.
Took my last Viper over there as I was planning on doing a trackday there... FAILED! WAAAAY over their limit... Oh Well!
Keep meaning to take the latest one over and see if this is any better... Somehow doubt it though... hehe

Will try that as Goodwood is only round the corner from me.There meter is probably better than anything I would buy.

I have access to one plus it's a data logger so it stores the reading and you can do a print out. However it's currently undergoing calibration it should be back next week gimmi a shout if that's any good, I'm situated in Worthing. smile

Cheers. If i cant get it done at Goodwood then i will give you a shout. I just need to get it checked before Vmax as i may need to get some extra silencers.

There is an iPhone app for this if you have one. Not sure if or how accurate it is but for free it'll give you a pretty good idea!!!

It wont be accurate enough. I am going to be close to the noise limit so i need a figure thats reasonably accurate.

I think that app only does up to 90db IIRC.

Don't waste yor money on the Maplin £60 meter it's complete dung.

Tried it along side the Goodwood meter and it reads 6 - 8 db low. Not just my opinion, others have the same result.

I need to get under 98dba static test at ¾ max revs ½ m & 45 degrees from the exhaust and 87.5 dba track side drive by. Could be an issue even with the standard exhaust. Goodwood is a no go at the moment because of revival prep. Will wait till after the revival.
