I'm very excited! I am going to a bird of prey and falconry day in December at Huxley's in Horsham (Sedgwick Lane if that means anything to the locals).

I'd like recommendations for a nice pub or place for lunch afterwards in the vicinity. I've already been to South Lodge (thanks Nick smile ) but I'm not after something quite so upmarket, just somewhere that does nice food for a reasonable price. Seafood is a particular favourite, but generally not fussy as long it's not some kind of 'Harvester' place.

Any ideas please fellow SC-ers?

The Hornbrook just down the road from there is simple but nice. Or the http://the-greenman.co.uk/gm/ in Partridge Green is good. The last time I went there the menu was on the fishy side smile

+1 For the Hornbrook, good pub food at decent prices. Take my parents there for Sunday lunch etc.

Or if you don't mind a drive, The Fox at Bucks Green has a good sea food menu.
