Well, there were quite a few SC'ers at the Brighton hospice run, and we decided we definitely needed more food, more cars & plenty more laughs.

So I stupidly promised to see about a post Xmas meet up. Lunch, a decent drive out, generally eating & gassing as only we can do so well smile Location TBC, but suggestions welcome for somewhere we can easily access.

Everyone welcome, in any car, the more the merrier!

Possible dates:

Wed 29th Dec
Thur 30th Dec
Sun 2nd Jan

If folk fancy it, let me know what date is best & have a think about where we could meet. I'm thinking a BIG roast lunch! lick

Put me down as a definite! Sunday 2nd would clash with the Kent meet which attracts 250+ people so we could possibly pick a different date or organise an S/C hoon to the Kent meet?

Will try & avoid the 2nd, but put it as an option as some people may go back to work on 28/29th). The fools! But if most can make the week, 29th will be the best smile

Food suggestion today from Funk - a pub in Findon with decent car park, but more importantly they serve you a slab of fillet steak & a red hot rock so you can cook it as you like it biggrin If you can tempt me with better than that feel free!

This isn't from the Black Horse, but it's exactly the same:

Properly good food, and pretty reasonable pricing too. There's a Christmas menu at £20/head for 3 courses.

There's also a Christmassy roast turkey + trimmings option at £25/head for those who want a more traditional meal..

Might need to get an idea on numbers PDQ. I know that a) they fill up fast, especially if it's a large number of people and b) they're booking ahead for the Christmas period. 29th works for me too.

Link to Black Horse site: http://www.mountainrangerestaurants.websir.co.uk/b...

Let's get a list going, assuming the 29th?
