Get a bag of chips from Fridays and go and sit by the water. Can't beat it!

Anglesey is good (my Garden used to back onto the gardens opposite when I was growing up!) - also good is Landers near the Haslar bridge, Wetherspoons is of course good too, or Frydays then to the ferry gardens.

A bit further out from Gosport, but you could try the Osbourne View nice views overlooking the Solent

I think its 'The Inn by the Sea' in Lee-On-Solent, Crown carveries? They do a pretty decent roast.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

We went to the Anglesey. We had a good Sunday lunch there, it's a nice pub.

Cheers PH.
