Recently had the front end of my car resprayed by a local body shop on Hayling Island, can you spot the deliberate mistake? The reason for the work was simply to have stone chip damage removed, all though this is not apparent from these 2 pics. all they did was spray over the chips with out filling, on questioning their workmanship I was told I had a cheap cash job done and what do you expect (£480) Apart from that, they broke the O/S indicator unit and stuck it back in, only for it to fall out on the cars first run out, the washer jets were broken and the headlamp wipers failed to park properly.
I would like to name and shame this garage but would like advice as to if I can. Needless to say I am now having the job done properly by Terry Blake who has done a lot of work for other PH's with full satisfaction in the past.
If I am not allowed to name and shame, feel free to PM me to find out who NOT to use on Hayling

Did they paint the front wing too! it looks a different shade of silver altogether ! or is it just the angle/light playing tricks?

I'd be interested to know Dave, purely for ding as I don't plan on having any work done. Been in and around the trade here long enough so a location would probably be enough for me.

How come you didn't go to Terry first?

Yep, pretty obvious isn't it, unfortunately its NOT the light playing tricks this is my dilemma.

I paid less than that to have my Lambo's front bumper rubbed down, filled and painted to an extremely high standard.

Silver is supposed to be a difficult colour to match but that is quite bad, place I tend to use would have probably blended it into the door.

With the colour match problem here, they should have blended in to the rest of the car!!!!

Such a shame Dave,I know how much care and attention goes into keeping your car as immaculate as it is.it must be one of the best condition v70r's of that era on the road. Good luck with getting it sorted and returned to its former glory. Jim
