Well it shouldn't be to long now before it opens July ish ? (I think) so what beter way to make your first trip through with a charity type event?
Nothing to complex to keep it fun and simple, maybe a pound or two in the pot for a local charity and keep the local BIB informed of course!(As i have a feeling this 'could' be quite big)
First thoughts would be start from Guildford Cathederal head south down to the roudabout at Liss and back up to the Cathederal after, before peeling off? so as to 'do' the tunnel both ways as it were?
Or more complex but run from each end and passing in the middle?
Just ideas to start the ball rolling !

Please add thoughts below unless Ive missed a thread on this already ?

Getting down to Hindhead for the day it opens has been an idea us locals have been thinking about for a while now. There is a walk through in May if you fancy a look, then it's open in the Summer at some point.

So a competition for the highest 0-?-0 between points is onsmile

Only kidding, but a charity run would be a great idea perhaps with a stopoff at the south/northbound services for a get together and a regroup.

I always thought they'd put some speed enforcement in. 1.1 miles of tunnel ragging would have been too easy!

I do wonder what the limit would be set at 50 I guess?
But with no 'db' meters there is still much fun to be had !

Would of been curiously interesting to be able to walk through the tunnel (I have know idea why) shame its all booked though.

At least there is a good few months to maybe get something organised though.

I would be interested.

I may or may not bring one of the engineers who put the cameras in though. He may be lynched biggrin
