Just come back from the inlaws which brought me down the A325. Insane amount of police activity between Farnham and Bordon, so much they've dug the old Fiestas out from the back of the nick car park.

Figured that would leave me free to make good progress down the A3 but by the top of the Eastern Rd into Portsmouth something about traffic flow wasn't feeling right. Glad I was paying attention as there's a big speed trap operation (rather than anpr I think) on both sides of the road by Morrisons junction.

Busy night for them, take care on the roads

Presumably the Hampshire feds are getting some overtime in before the new financial year starts.

Are you sure it wasn ANPR? I remember reading recently that they were going to set up a massive ANPR drive around Portsmouth.

Not 100% sure but they had cameras on tripods outside the van rather than the usual ANPR cams through the rear door hatch

Can't shed any light on this one I'm afraid as I wasn't on over the weekend. Sounds interesting though.
