If you're in and around Portsmouth over the next couple of weeks with a few minutes to spare, there's a rare opportunity to get inside The Round Tower, part of the city's walled protection dating back to the 1420s and closed to the public in recent decades.
The occasion is the Strong Island exhibition, which draws together creative pieces from over 30 Portsmouth artists, photographers and craftspeople. Worth a visit if you're short of a wedding gift for Wills and Kate, looking to fill a bit of wall space or just like to browse diverse local art.
Free to get in, opens to the public tomorrow (Sat 16th) and runs til May 1st.
