I'm looking at heading across to the Isle of Man as a foot-passenger for a few days but would need to leave a car on the mainland!

what is the parking situation at the docks?
or anywhere very close that you'd recommend?

all suggestions gratefully received smile

I think the best suggestions will be to put it in Liverpool 1 car park. Only a few minutes away.

Liverpool One is very expensive. Are you going with Steam Packet? They do a 10% discount if you book online. Code is "Steam"

I'd be looking here. Directly opposite the Liver Building, very near the dock and manned 24 hours.

I'll jump in on this if I may to glean some Liverpool parking info. We're going to see those giants walking through the city center over the weekend, thinking of gong on Sunday to see them at Kings dock, is there a park and ride scheme as I'm sure the city's going to be chocca block.

You will be right on the route down the Strand on Sunday if you use the main L1 Q-Park, or use the
Q Park at John Lewis ( I use this all he time) Not cheap £8 for 2 hrs. But well lit and secure.

The entrance to the L1 is right on the Strand (down ramp) the JL one turn left/right at Canning Place Police Building at the end of Liver Street.
