Take her up the Blackpool tower? The Northern version of the OXO tower?

It's going to be bitter, whatever you do if you're thinking outdoors.

I like Devils Bridge http://www.ukscubadivingcentral.com/places-to-scub...

And also Crook O Lune http://englishlakes.co.uk/attractions/lancashire/c...

But this weekend I think I'd be tucking up in a nice country pub next to a fire. You could always do Blackpool if you're a bit sadistic. I quite like the beach in the winter though

Country pub with a fire is the best you can hope for with this weather. The Bulls Head at Mobberley between Wilmslow and Knutsford is perfect if you're in that neck of the woods.

It's not a threesome, but the answer is still both.

They chopped all the trees down around that layby, to discourage dogging. Seriously.

This, a snowball fight, a credit card emptying session or the obvious stay indoors activity are about all there is to go at.

A mite chilly & windswept, not to mention white.

Yup. Serious cold-weather gear, hot drink in the cafe and then snuggle up in a hide to keep warm. (there's one proper hide that's sealed, has glass windows that don't open etc so it's not too bad)
