General Car Club Meets

Are there any General car club meetings round the Cheshire area, or could we start one, just cars of interest and people with cars they enjoy. Seems like the only clubs on PH are for Exotica and the like, perhaps a club or meet for slightly modified cars of any description, fully modded motors, anything goes really, have a great venue we could use and have already asked the Landlord if we can use, good size car park, can line cars up show fashion if wanted, easy to get to near Holmes Chapel just off the M6.

I was looking for the same thing recently! I had no joy either. I would definately be up for this if I am around. I am at uni at the moment and won't back for about 4 or 5 weeks. I live in knutsford so very handy otherwise.

You might only get 5 or 10 the first time but you've got to start somewhere.



Also - there is a lack of PH drives to the south of Manchester. What are the roads like round there?

Some good, some bad, you just got to know where. Best method I have found is just to get lost and see where you end up. It ussually works. And you are right, the only PH meet I am aware of that is south of Manchester is the Cat and Fiddle run. But a more regular, deffinate date would be better I agree.

I reside in Macc, work in Knutsford, so I'd certainly try and show my face if we had a local social/meet night on a regular basis. Got a few lads at work that might come down occasionally too.

Where are the Unphased meets then? I've got a near standard DC2 for what it matters?

The Unphased meets are every third thursday of the month (so next one is 20th May) at the Boatyard pub near Houghton (just of junction 3 of the M65)

Have spoken to the Landlord at the Fox and Hounds, Sproston, he just needs to know what day is best, he has a restaurant, does bar meals and is up for having a number of cars that people are proud of on his car park. Reply back with any ideas, I would reckon a Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm near Audenshaw High - fairly obvious if you drive past my house

My sister lives in Droy - she's the one with the red TVR (if you're old enough to remember it )

Never been to this pub, but have been past it a lot. Looks like a very good venue with a decent sized car park.
