Nantwich on Saturday...what went on

I believe something involving - fast cars/shooters/watches happened yesterday. And no I don't mean Cholmondeley pop's fast cars, they didn't have any shooters (apart from the guns on the Army Tanks). Nothing on the radio or TV.
Anyone know.....just being nosey.
