(PS, Great Sutton, Cheshire, CH66 2BY - is this the correct address for the Wirral 100?)
Hi James, that's the address of the Wirral 100. We are meeting there at 7, we'll wait for you if you want? Look out for a red Corvette and a silver Noble(PS, Great Sutton, Cheshire, CH66 2BY - is this the correct address for the Wirral 100?)

Hi Guys nice to meet up and a surprise seeing Tony (lol small world) - sorry I didnt say goodbye to all so goodbye (I was dark blue SL55)
Some lovely cars and a quick reminder the sporting bears are at Liverpool one 2nd July for a taster session and at Cholmondley in force shortly after. They raise money for charity and are helping Claire House childrens hospice (where my Mrs Anna works). For a small donation they take people out for a spin in nice cars and its all very relaxed Im told (Im not a bear as yet)
Anna has said she fancies a mustang after seeing the lovely red one - hmmm LHD and Anna =

Hi,
Thank you for a great turnout. It was a really good meet, its a shame about the weather, but thanks to all who turned up despite this! I'm thinking about making the meet more than just an annual occasion, maybe a couple of times a year and also the possibility of making it a charitable event.
Anyway, here's the good stuff you wanted to see!

Re the sporting bears, I'll be there helping out and I'll have the 8 series parked up - nobody will want to pay for a ride but it won't look TOO out of place I hope! Tom, seeing as everyone got on really well and a few people mentioned meeting more often, how about monthly?I'm thinking about making the meet more than just an annual occasion, maybe a couple of times a year...
Get people to pick the one day out of seven that would be best for everyone, then make it a date for 12 months or so. Eg 'the first Thursday of each month' and make it informal so that whoever happens to be free on that day turns up for a chat and a drink.
Then you could aim for one big mid summer/Christmas meet where we try and do something charitable (have the meet at Claire House childrens hospice? Or something along those lines?)
Also, how about we plan a decent driving route round the Wirral, say 10-15 miles, so that when we meet up and the weather's nice, we could go for a spin in convoy (eg New Brighton prom, West Kirby boating Lake, plenty of good roads cutting across the middle around Thornton Hough/Barnstondale etc)?

That's a good idea, but I feel as though we just wont get the numbers. I'd be more than happy to start doing so if we encouraged more interest? Not just the PH forums, but other forums, friends and friends of friends etc.Get people to pick the one day out of seven that would be best for everyone, then make it a date for 12 months or so. I hope you all enjoyed the meet, how about a winter meet later this year? We could get all festive and do something around christmas!

I agree with that. I've been involved in a few of these types of things before ( mainly Lotus meetings ) and they tend to start off well and then fizzle out. If you have them once a month I think that's too much. I hope you all enjoyed the meet, how about a winter meet later this year? We could get all festive and do something around christmas!
I know I'm sounding like a miserable old git but it's based on experience I'm afraid.
