I took my JCW wheels to Tim at Jorvik Engineering, York on Friday on the recommendation of some PHers.

They were excellent from the outset. Good advice, pleasant to deal with, reasonable prices.

Pictures below of the wheels, the finish is superb. Better than factory IMO. I cant recommend or praise Jorvik enough.

I'm very, very pleased with the work. £288 all in inc VAT.

They also balanced the wheels with black weights because the wheels are dark (their idea and welcome) .As for service, I dropped them off on Friday and collected them on Tuesday morning (today). Bear in mind the price was based on me dropping the wheels off, off the car. Easier for them and less work.

They look great. So the 288in VAT was for 4 x 17" or 16" wheels with tyres still on, but off the vehicle then?

Think they'll be getting a call from me. Out of interest what colour is that? Mine are currently black, but that looks nice too.

4x17inch. Yup, off the car but tyres on. Off their own back they used black weights when balancing it which was a nice touch.

Tim told me they only have storage space for 2 cars so off the car is a big help to them. Obviously if you dont have some spare wheels it means a tricky process of standing the car on jacks/axle stands.

I cant remember the name of the colour. They have samples of all colours there. I think maybe anthracite but I could be wrong.

Tempted to get the black Breyton GTS wheels redone now.
