Newcastle to Scarborough in F360

Hey guys,

I'm travelling down towards Scarborough tommorow from Newcastle to meet up with some mates. Thinking about taking the Ferrari and just been looking at the route. What's the quickest way down there? Google Maps tells me that going down the A171 will be the quickest, but it's just a single lane road in either direction? Is the A171 particularly busy at any time of day that I should best avoid? And lastly, any speed traps on these roads? (not that I'm thinking about speeding, but don't want to get done when overtaking a slow moving lorry etc...) Also, will I have any problems with the Ferrari down in Scarborough (never been there before)

Sorry for the late reply but....
A171 is the coast road that has some great bits.
Some not so great as Mr plod will be behind a bush (maybe).
