My race prepped DS should be ready then and would be good if any PH folks are up for a bit of a thrash in t'Dales.

Never been to a PH meet yet but keen to meet some other like minded souls. The wife is going spare at me constantly talking to her about cars.

Thanks, hopefully it will be once finished. Hoping last week in July so it can get a damned good ragging in August.

A DS or SM would be in my fantasy garage cloud9

Once owned a BX, but guess that, along with the C1 sat outside, don't really count!

I'm really enjoying it.lots to do to get it race ready but they're surprisingly easy to work on providing you made sure it has a solid chassis and hydropneumatics.

Can't wait for the bespoke race exhaust to go on along with the 4 way carb and lightened flywheel. Probably be good for 165bhp with some luck.

Awesome awesome car... one of my all time faves smile

It looks like I am just about to be my first Citroen as a daily work hack. 60mpg and £30 a year road tax is too tempting to turn down... a C5 is not quite as aesthetically pleasing as a DS though!

Burriana, are you the chap with the red Fezza TR that I met briefly at Michael's garage in Howarth last year?

If so I was the guy with the silver BMW 530i M Sport and you bought me a bacon butty over the road as we waited...

If so what was up with the TR? Timing?

Certainly is me Ben smile

It turns out the Testarossa had a fault on the immobiliser system which cut the left bank fuel supply. I wondered why it would only do about 120... it was only running on half an engine!

Just taken it down to Le Mans and it ran like a dream... so so fast and... so so VERY noisy!

Not sure if you will be able to see the video, depends on the FB privacy settings.

Top stuff, glad you got that sorted. I bet that is going to be one of the cheapest fixes in TR history...!

This is my latest money wasting project:

Being fully race prepped for entry to the Monte Carlo Rallye Historique in 2012 and a number of other events this late summer/autumn.

er, not exactly... it took a lot of hours and head scratching and emails on Ferrari Chat to finally find the problem. Then he had to set about getting everything balanced back the way it should be... then I went and bought a new exhaust for it! smile
