Hi,

Can anyone point me at a nice resataurant in Sheffield. Something a bit different if possible. Theres seems to be millions down abbydale road but it's just finding a good one.

I'll be needing to get in tomororw night too. Cos like a muppet i've left it all a bit last minute.

Thanks! smile

Dont mind paying upto £70 for the pair of us.

I fancied something a little different to be honest.

I've actually booked Ottos now. Its a moroccan just off Eccesall road. But it's not to late to change if a load of other suggestions come up.

Its not that different but Morans is very good even though it doesn't look great from the outside, its near Dore on Abbeydale Rd

One for next time if you don't mind going to Chesterfield - NonSoloVino on Chatsworth Road. Beats every place I've eaten at in Sheffield.

Really??? Bought plenty of wine there but never eaten there. I only live around the corner too. I could walk there. I honestly didn't realise they did an evening menu!!

Cheers. I'll gave to give it a try.

How about Moo La La at the west One complex off west street. Traditional British snap with a twist.

Honest - they do lunch and dinner. The 9 course tasting menu gives excellent variety, albeit not the cheapest it's certainly worth it.

Just to follow up.

Went to Ottos on Saturday. Very accomodating, lovely friendly staff, good menu, amazing food. Really enjoyed it. We'll definietly be going again. Cheap to. And if you want to take your own wine they only change £2 corkage.

Excellent excellent restaurant!!

Thanks for all your other suggesitons. I'll try to get round them all. smile
