Precision Machine Engineer

For a project at work we need to find a machining company that can machine us some small parts from hardened steel to within 10ish microns tolerance.

Can anyone make a recommendation, pref in the Harrogate/Leeds area.

Is it a long term / large volume project ?

Can I ask why it must be local ?

Driver 67 - the parts are one-offs, though there are quite a lot of them and we are not expecting to pay pennies for them. The reason for local is that we need something quickly and explaining what we need isn't something easily done over the phone and email.

I'm sure you'll get a suitable company locally. It will speed up the process greatly if you have 3D Cad models.

Kirkstall precision in leeds are good at high tolerance stuff and I would strongly recommend jvd engineering over the road from them too, they're quite reasonable price and time wise.
