NEw Cameras??

On my way to Horsforth using the outer ring road in Leeds I spotted a number of boxes by the roadside. You know the type. Usually attached to a strip across the road. Except there was no strip. Instead there's a camera mounted on nearby Streetlights or on a speed/direction sign. So the question is, what are they watching now????

I noticed a couple today as well
first on Leeds Rd Greengates and the 2nd by the Stansfield Pub at Apperley Bridge

I thought they must be counting vehicles but don't know
