The OH wants a tattoo for X-Mas. Can anyone recommend a very high quality artist (as good as the Miami Ink guys)?

Most of my friends have used scott or simon at Ink Vs Steel in the merrion centre, would rate their work highly, failing that my best mate uses Physical Poetry I think its called, it used to be on Hyde Park corner but not sure if its still there now. Also look at Ultimate skin, they have really good guest artists every now and again and used employ someone called diego who everyone seemed to hype about although I havent personally seen any of his work.

My personal recommendation is Black Crown Tattoo in Leeds. Nicest ambience and best artists in my opinion.

There are some very funny happenings at Ultimate Skin and I wouldn't get involved there personally but they have had some excellent artists down the years. I have had quite a few hours in there in days gone by but it's always been a bit of a strange one politically. Diego now works from home I believe - if you would like a contact I can obtain one. He is quite selective on what he will do but his work is incredible. Another friend works at Red and he is quite handy, but I haven't yet him scrawl on me yet, probably keep it for the New Year.

Good luck whichever location you go for! One of life's great pleasures...

Rich, I know you have a hidden stash of sterile Laytex gloves too!!! rofl
Being the gentleman and good Catholic boy I am (ha), I will refrain from stating the exact location of the tattoo. Once done, images will be available at £5 each, payable to my PayPal account.bandit

You're not kidding. redface

The smell of your own burning skin is a bit disconcerting as well.
