I'm looking at going for Sunday lunch within 20 mins of selby tomorrow. Does anyone have any good recommendations where we can find a good quality well cooked roast?

4 doors down from me. Excellent food. Worth booking, can get busy.

I would be more then happy havibg it as a stumbling local. Although not too far for me in a taxi, or only a phone call away for the domestic technician to come get me.

Irony is I hardly drink these days. Doh. Tbh it's more a restaurant than watering hole. Jim and Andy have no choice really, Biggin is too small to support a drinking pub without the restaurant bit.

Didn't realise there were PHers so close by. I might host a little get together if people fancy a brew and car chat.

Huge portions, real ale, busy on Sunday lunch and North Howden Station, rather than Howden.

The B1228 to the A1079/A64 is a corker of a road too.

Police sometimes have a laser on the 40 limit around the BW, so beware/stick below the limit.

Myself and the mrs have just got back from the Blacksmith Arms in Biggin.

We had a very good sunday lunch (possibly one of the best pub sunday lunches in a long time)

Thank you for the recommendation we will most likely return!

Brilliant. Glad you and Mrs EST enjoyed yourselves. Glad you liked it, nothing worse then recommending places and people not enjoying!

I have found that we can only ever manage two curses as the portions are proper yorkshire portions.
