Got all the details printed today so may take a run up there on Sunday and do Roppa. Not sure whether I'll take the lad up there as I'd need to keep an eye out while trying to take pictures.

Just got back from walking the Rickal stage with the dogs this morning and the snow has completely gone, but boy it's rough in places. They'll be a few tired damper seals by the end.

Sounds like the start of Riccal Dale has been moved from what i'm hearing elsewhere. Roppa may have been shortened too.

If i get clarification i'll post it on here.

So is Riccal cancelled or shortened? Any links to a revised route / running programme - I was going to pedal down there tomorrow so it would be useful to know whether I'll be wasting my time.

Shortened. Start has been moved but i'm not sure where.

Roppa has lost the "loop" at the end, which was junction 1 to 6 last year .

I had a pedal out to watch Riccal 2. Bloody hell that ka was quick, even in the company of the ex wrc cars. Had nice chat with a couple of the marshalls who regailed me with rallying essies in the 80s.

Enjoyable hour out.

Mat Smith in the Ka finished 7th overall. I'd love to see what he can do in something a bit quicker!

I had a steady plod to 11th overall. Navigator's first time in the woods.

Matt Smith did make us look a bit poor but the car has allegedly got quite a bit of grunt. Still trying to get the spec for it. Very neat and tidy driver too.

Didn't see you on Riccal 2. There seemed to be quite a few historics missing as about 5 or six cars came through and then a long pause and the modern stuff came through. Was there an accident somewhere or something?

We did Riccall Dale 2. It seemed like someone had ironed it since the first run through.

Converted from RAW files.. Very minor adjustments to contrast etc if needed plus the same sharpening settings i use for everything else. If i make a complete horlicks of a shot and have to "save" it i just bin it, mainly because i'm too lazy to spend hours in front of the PC
