Have we any 'Pro' Automotive Photographers in the region, which are on here?

Or any keen ametures like myself?

I'm interested to see your work/portfolio's so lets see what you've got. (but dont post every photo you've ever taken in here wink ) If you know of a pro thats in the region and not on here then post a link to their work.

If there's a number of us maybe we could do a meet somewhere, practice some setups on someones car and compare techniques? If this interests you then raise your arm

I'm a keen petrolhead like many, and I've always liked taking and looking at pictures of cars. Only recently have I bit the bullet and got myself a DSLR and done what I can to get a better result out of it. I've pondered about taking the hobby further many times but other than start a Flickr account to get some feedback I've done nothing else about it. Are you in the same boat?

I'd definitely be up for some kind of meet, although admittedly I don't really take many phots of cars - and when I do they're shoite.

Split my time between York and Manchester mostly so travelling isn't that much of an issue.

A good friend of mine is a pro 'tog. He's done some nice pics of cars (including my Leon).

By no means a pro, and still very much learning. A keen amateur at best...

As most others. I take the odd snap but do nothing with them apart from post 'em smile

The red one was only taken with an iPhone but I quite like it.

Not an automotive photographer (although I do get to go on a lot of shoots with pros from work) but I thought some of you might be interested by my landscape photography, www.markmullenphotography.co.uk

[Waves] Evening Phil! Already bumped into each other on other forums. biggrin
Semi-pro here... have an IT based 'day job' too. Automotive stuff taking off, previously it's been event / wedding stuff for paid work.

Whilst the guys who come are on real tight schedules I know one of them is keen on starting workshops in car photography, I'll let you know if they get finalised.

Awesome shots OP!

Can I just ask what your lighting setup is?

Looks like some sort of strip lighting?

I'm not sure how active he is but Craig Garside (craig1377) is a Yorkshire pro I've done a couple of sessions with. In fact he asked me about using my car for a car photography class recently though he hasn't set any dates yet.

The Astons in Craig's portfolio are particularly fine wink

How do, I'd forgot you were in the area too. Would you be up for some kind of meet up? Would be nice to see and passenger in the green machine if nothing else biggrin

Could I ask who you do use? And take a look at their work? PM that info if you prefer, and don't worry I don't plan to contact them nagging

Thinking about it, I image the 'real tight schedules' is where it stops being 'fun'

I'll check out the other links, thanks for those smile
