I am not going to fork out 30 a month to sky on principle, and cos Im tight!!

Was wondering if any Pubs in Yorkshire were going to show the GPs live. Quite like the idea of getting up early and driving to a pub to watch the Aus GP over a big pub breakfast!!

Doesn't help answer your question but a group of us get together for every GP we can and lay on some food. If you clubbed together with a few mates you'd get all the other awesome Sky motor racing, bit of socialising and you'd save money by cooking your own hearty breakfast!

I know that squires tend to show the british gp but not sure about the rest. Shooters sports bar in leeds city centre might show the races.

I like the idea of both, and would certainly accomodate for the BBC races!

Its got to be the first time Ive dropped lucky, being a Sky HD customer I get the F1 channel for free - doesnt usually happen and I can imagine someone smashing into my car on the way to work to address the balance.

I have just upgraded to HD + F1.

I mistakenly thought, as I suspect a few might, that you needed to upgrade to the sports package, which you don't. Simply upgrade to HD and the F1 comes free.

In summary it costs an extra £10.25 per month which I would spend at a pub watching it anyway, PLUS I got £50 M&S vouchers as part of the deal, PLUS "up to" £130 cash back by going through Quidco. Though I will wait to see what the "up to" bit means.

Do it on-line, not phone as the phone bods do not have the same deals.

You got 50 vouchers even though you already had Sky? Got a link?

I think I just went to the main Sky page (but then went via Quidco to get the cash back).
