Cheap as Chips Barber's (Leeds +10 miles)
Discussion
Hello, could anybody recommend me a new barbershop to start using please, as my regular guy has gone AWOL.
I'm happy to consider all areas (except centre) within a ten mile radius using the White Rose Centre as a starting point. Somewhere free to park nearby would be a bonus.
Ideally, said establishment will be cheap - looking at paying around five pounds, and proprietor will be skilled in the use of a straight razor for neck and sideburns.
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

15 years ago my dad would have matched every criteria.
Mad Malcolms just up the hill in Beeston.
Sadly long retired, and the old shop now pushes credit to people who can't afford it.
Musty in the centre of Halifax is a traditional Turkish barber, knows how to use a razor, and singes the hair in your ears with a flame. Top job.
But more than 10 miles !

Unfortunate, sounds like a top lad. Suprised health and safety jobsworths allow him to use a flame though.Mad Malcolms just up the hill in Beeston.

Also, best regards to your old man - I trust he is enjoying his deserved retirement ?

Right in the centre of Pudsey, opposite HSBC (junction B6155(lidget hill) and B6154 (Church lane) – Over the road from the marketplace. Think it's actually called “The barbers” ! !There's a (free!) car park just up Lidget Hill from the junction (about 10 shops away)and turn left by Thomas Cooks. (once parked, there's a cut through down through to church lane)
