Three-storey ROLEX store to open in Leeds....!
Discussion
A standalone three-storey ROLEX store is to open in Leeds....! The first outside London and only the third in the UK,there will be over 260 watches on display, servicing&repairs and a Champagne bar....! They must think theres some money up north...? I suppose where tha's muck tha's brass......! or in this case Gold....!
Wow, I don't think Berry's will be too happy about that, unless they've got a financial interest vested in it. Mind you, they have had the monopoly in Leeds for decades. Hard to believe really, particularly in light of the economy and online shopping. Even the wealthy 'up North' are always looking for a discount!

You can say that again! Even on a 100 grand kitchen there is enormous bargaining to be done. I suppose these are people who are wealthy through a lot of hard work and wheeler dealing so everything is a challenge to them and every transaction is an opportunity to flex their muscles! I get the impression from what I've seen in the capital that wealth is at a higher level and money is earned more easily and earned through less entrepreneurial professions, the media, law, governance, the arts and so on. I prepare to be corrected!....... So the Rolex guys could do the business but they will have to work hard for it!I think both Berrys and Owen & Robinson lost their Rolex franchise last June when Rolex UK reduced the number of Authorised Dealers? Think Goldsmiths is the present sole official Rolex outlet in Leeds?
If the 3 storey emporium of bling development is true …. then shows some serious confidence in the Northern market? Just found this via Google:
