As per title really.

Just want some suggestions as to where I could go to wet my whistle for the night smile

I'll be staying in the Doubletree by Hilton which, I beleive is Granary Wharf (correct me if I am wrong).

The Brewery Tap near the station - sells all its own beers
TheVictoria up near the town hall is a classic pub
Epernay is a nice wine bar
Browns bar is ok

Casa Mia for dinner (by millennium square)
Little Tokyo for Japanese food
Arts Cafe for gastropub type food
Sous le Nez en ville for French (higher budget needed)

Awesome! Might have to visit all of them! wink

Might affect my presence at the meeting the following day, mind you. I might pack these:

New Italian bar just opened up near the Doubletree - Vineataly, its in the railway arches on Granary Wharf, just turn right out of the hotel. Definately worth a try.

Very nice pub in the railway arch right opposite Doubletree, name escapes me at the moment, feeling it might be The Hop or something similar.

It is the Hop, run by Ossett Brewery, plenty of their own beers on, Silver King is fantastic. Next door to Vineataly, which I mentioned above.

Depends what you are looking for?

The Bar at Restaurant Bar & Grill in City Square is OK and directly opposite the train station.

If you want bars rather than ale pubs, a starting point for a lovely bar is the Sky Lounge. Not too far to walk either. To the lift, press floor 13 and you're there.

In the other direction you have the "Holbeck Urban Village" and the Midnight Bell, some nice food and drink available and close to the Engine House which also puts on a good spread.

Thanks Guys!

I'll be having food at the hotel as it will be covered by my business meal allowance. Just want somewhere to chill out and have a pint really.

The Hop looks good though, and is the closest smile

Catch the lift up to the bar at the top of the hotel. Expensive drinks but great views.
