Another Yorkshire Snotrun
Discussion
Since my Rangie ate its turbo and entire engine shortly afterwards I am (hooray) back in the land of Snot after selling the Golf.
So, anyone up for a nice early dawn raid one Sunday morning? I'm pretty easy about location and start/finish points but would like to try and aim for a being-back-at-home time of around 10.30am ish.
If we can garner 5-10 cars I'll come up with a route or people can feel free to make suggestions.
Any car at all welcome, snotter, P&J or company eurocackbox.

Yes Al, this is a new and exciting development
The turbo decided to expire in a catastrophically quick manner. As well as emptying the entire sump out of the exhausts in about 6 seconds (around £100 worth of pricey synthetic stuff) it then ate its own engine. Currently in a million pieces and hence the speedy purchase of some snotter pork as a daily beater. In HG right now of you fancy a coffee.

Doubt I have a free Sunday 'til October now but would love to get involved. I took the Rallye along the B6255 a few weeks ago and it performed admirably. Would like to offer it another chance to stretch its legs - usually it's the old fibreglass shed which gets all the Sunday morning fun.
Ah I miss my old MkII snotter!
I'm building the foundations of a plan - am thinking something new - Bowland Forest and around there. It is only a half hour or so blast from Harrogate way down the A59 and, as people would have it, some remarkable driving roads. I need to do a bit more research though - if anyone knows this area well I'd appreciate some hints on best places plus a decent breakfast stop.
Plan would be something like:
2 meeting places if required, 1 around Leeds way, the other Harrogate way.
2 groups RV around Ilkley/Skipton for the run down the A59 to FoB.
A decent 1-1.5 hr run
Breakfast
Another decent 1-1.5 hr run ending back around Skipton/Grassington kind of way where people can continue up into the Dales or break off and head home before the wife wakes up.
