I realise that they can post in the NW regional sub-forum Al. My point was that Lancashire simply wasnt worth a sub-forum all of its own.

It's probably the same reason greater Manchester, merseyside, Cumbria and Cheshire don't get their own sub forum, they're too small and insignificant. Lancs is tiny in comparison to Yorkshire.
Even together, all the North West counties are still smaller than Yorkshire.

I was born in a forrin land, brought up in Cheshire, met a French girl in Scotland, moved to London, married her, lived in forrin again, moved to Yorkshire a few years back.
