Hi all, would anyone be willing to offer a place/help for me to fix the clutch on my mondeo? I'd rather do it than give it to a garage but I only have the street to do it... Beer money on offer!

Just to add, I should be able to get the car somewhere near Harrogate, it doesn't have to be right on my doorstep!

Mondeo clutch is a bit tricky isn't it? Sub-frame needs removing. I may be wrong.

Yes it looks that way from the research I'm doing. Although some report to have done in on their drive by just dropping the subframe at on end.

I'm told the Mondeo is a little bit easier than the X-type but our X was a ten hour job with the mechanic and all the workshop tools/ramps/etc. That was for clutch and DMF. Best part of a grand for the job.

Failing someone having a garage I can use, is there anywhere close by where I can rent a workshop and ramp for a day?

Do they offer that kind of service?
