Looks like a great trip. I keep trying to persuade my mates to join me on a trip outside of the UK, one of these days I might just end up going on my own.

Good work mate, v.jealous off all those km you've clocked up, wherever I go next I think the vette will join me as my toy car so I can hoon around in it.

We really have a fantastic time every time we do one of these trips. I can totally recommend doing one if you want to and haven't already got around to it.

Ended up doing Stelvio, Furka and Grimsel as part of a recent jaunt with my dad. I'm slowly working through everything...

Did you do the St Gotthard too? That was probably the best of the passes we did.

Time didn't allow us to do everything on the wish list, with only 8 driving days something is always going to suffer.

You look like you had a great time, wish I had the dialect and time to do as comprehensive and well written thread as yours. I'll keep looking in to catch up on what else you did.

It looks like you squeezed plenty in! It's amazing how long it takes to do all the passes, isn't it? We travelled from Milan to Mulhouse and the direct route is 4 hours. Doing St Gotthard/Furka/Grimsel knocked it up to 8 hours. Still, worth every second. That hospital by the lake on the Grimsel - like the set from a horror movie or something!

Really enjoyed your account and some good food for thought for another trip smile
