Driveway/Patio Slabs being stolen - North Leeds

Just a heads up. We had a neighbour a couple of months ago have half her driveway stolen (Yorkshire stone). Apparently a van reversed up her driveway, couple of blokes acting like workmen and basically uprooted half the drive, loaded it in a van and drove off.

Anyway, recently it appears that someone has been round the back of my house taking a look at my patio. It looks like they've been gauging how secured the slabs are. No idea why as mine are cheap look-a-likes so it would be more of an inconvenience than a financial burden.

Just thought I'd mention it as it's not the sort of thing you would automatically think is a target.

A farmhouse near us had the gates smashed down and a biggish area of york stone ripped up last year.

An old work colleague in Yeadon had theirs taken twice using the same MO. They ended up putting something else down as it wasn't worth the hassle.

There used to be one man and his team who were soley responsible for this in the North Leeds / Harrogate area.
He was prolific!
