Clocktower at Rudding Park
Discussion
I'm fortunate to being treated to a night away at Rudding Park in a few weeks for my birthday. I've been several times for corporate do's and grown up down the road, but never actually dined in the restaurant.
It obviously gets great reviews and the menu looks great, but I wondered if anyone had dined there in recent times who could point to anything I should look out for on the menu? I love all foods but it seemed from looking at the menu that there was almost too much to choose from yet no area that jumped out as a speciality (if that makes sense).
Any recommendations gratefully received.

No specific suggestions for food, the menu changes a lot. Last time I was there I had the turbot I think, was excellent.
I got married there, the service was absolutely exemplary, even compared to the best of the best (brother in law had wedding reception at Claridges).
Top cocktails in the bar, too.

If you can wait two weeks I might be able to let you know. My work take over Rudding Park for a week in January. We ate in the Clocktower a couple of times last year so we might do this year too.
I don't think it will really matter what you have as everything was excellent. I didn't hear anyone say a bad word about the food.

Very nice that you had a Follifoot room!
I got back yesterday from my week at Rudding Park. I have 0 complaints about anything there. The staff are perfect, they will go out of their way to help you.
The food in Clocktower, in which I was fortunate enough to eat in every night, was lovely no matter what we had!
It was lovely to see some of the same staff that I saw there last year as well, it must be a good company to work for as well.
