Might not be simple. If it's anything like my 996 then the factory amp will be controlled by CANbus, and, as far as I remember, if it doesn't pick up a signal from it then it will flag up an error in the system. I think I ended up sending the feed from my Becker Cascade unit to a seperate amp and hooking in to the existing speaker wiring. This bypassed all the fibre optic and took it out the equation. Porsche don't seem to make it easy to upgrade the sound, I've heard the later cars are even harder to do some aftermarket sound upgrades.

No idea on shops as I done mine myself. I asked a couple of places for advice and they couldn't help as they wouldn't go near the canbus system.
If you don't have the amp then you might be ok. There's also some fairly simple security you need to be aware of but I can tell you offline if your installer isn't already aware.
