Pub to drive to from Wakefield on a sunny evening

Too late for tonight, but next time there's a lovely evening like this I'd love to go for a nice country drive to a pub/restaurant with decent food and a nice view.

Anyone know anywhere like that reachable from north west Wakefield? Thinking a 30-45 minute country drive with the roof off. Any further and it'll be too late for dinner

I know there are places in the Dales and Peak but they'd take too long to get to I think.

Once you get to the other side of Cas, head out past fair burn then your away towards Selby/Sherburn, loads of nice pubs about, at least one in every village you'll come across!
