A friend has a lease car that's due to go back - an initial inspection has highlighted a number of issues that are seriously impacting their "option to buy" price when trading in against another newer car but the main one is the wheels that are kerbed.

They don't want to pay a fortune for a perfect job, just the minimum for something visually acceptable - are there any trusted places that any of you can recommend in the area? I know there are lots around but it's hard to know who you can trust at the lower price points smile

Not used them personally but a friend has, did a great job.

Not Leeds but not too far to go I would imagine.

I had the missus alloys done at CasCoatings for the same reason (going up for sale). Pretty acceptable job and the price was a touch over £100 for 4 18" alloys.

KM powder coaters in Featherstone nr Pontefract.

Just had my 19's Powder coated there for £35 a wheel. This was including removing the old tyres.

Worth a call.

From £1 an inch...

Prices start from £1 per inch for flat colours such as black, white, creams and one coat silver. 16" wheels would be £16 per wheel plus vat.21"and above from £30 per wheel. For lacquered finishes and candy colours add 50%

From £1, yes, but most wheels are under 18" and I believe that a greater proportion of their work is single coat too. So: £1 (+VAT).

At £72 for a set of 7"x15" Porsche wheels I am happy.
