Stupid things people do in the 50 zone on the M1

Hey guys,

So I was travelling back to Leeds from Sheffield last night, in the 50mph zone doing the standard 55mph from Huddersfield to Wakefield and saw two things that made me chuckle.

The first was some lad in a Fiesta bombing it through at 70mph but then hitting the brakes when he went under the speed camera thinking they didn't monitor is average speed. The thought of him getting a ticket and wondering to himself why he got it made me chuckle to myself.

The second which I’m sure I didn't see right was what looked like some lass giving the hold BJ to the guy driving.

Anyone else seen anything utterly dumb/hilariously funny driving through 50 zones?

Same stretch last Friday in the torrential rain doing 50. Everyone had their headlights on and volume of rain and spray made driving faster dangerous. But there is always one....

Young lad in a black Corsa, outside lane, booted it (well, you know what I mean) near the end of the roadworks and no lights on. Must have been doing 80 and disappeared in a second in the spray.

I was in that too weirdly enough! I saw loads of cars without their headlights on. I wanted get a mega phone and shout PUT YOUR F**KING LIGHTS ON YOU D*CK.

Maybe an modification I can make to my car and make the voice come out with Peter Kay in Pheonix nights when he makes his own car alarm.

In the middle lane next to another mong doing the same, at least that's where I normally see them.

The nob head in front of me doing 38mph (speedo) in the 50 zone single lane so no choice, then I belted past him up to 54mph (speedo) when it went to a double lane to which I saw him go in the second lane still at 38mph and no one dared overtake him on the left so there was a massive que!
Glad I shot off tbh.

I had a Jazz for the day the other month. It was an auto (probably because old people can't do a clutch anymore) with paddles!!! and a "Sports" mode you could flip in between.

It was an interesting drive but i had to keep it in sport all the time because it was so slow!

People slowing down to 45 to go past the cameras after the roadworks have been cleared, despite the 2'x4' sign saying "Speed Camera NOT in use"

People passing me in my huge van just before the 50 limit at 90, then slamming on down to 45 only for me to trundle past them as I gently slow from 70 to 56ish, then them zoom past me once we get out again.

People who to 55, 45, 55, 45, 55, 45, 55, 45, 55, 45, 55, 45, 55 all the way through because they cant keep a steady speed.....

Only thing I haven't seen is any roadworks going on, but I guess it must happen sometimes because there is a bit of new barrier at one end!

I think that's because everyone is busy putting cones out other places they aren't needed too
