Parking Costs Trinity Leeds, exorbitant about covers it.
Discussion
The old NCP car park near the station has recently been done up and re-branded as Trinity.
Always used to park there for work so once renovations were complete went in for the first time yesterday.
Credit where its due its brought it bang up to date.
However, the price for a day has increased by about £10!
Just wanted to let people know before they get skinned as I did.
Its such a wonder that its now compeltely empty.

With the Woodhouse Moor one, it's pay and display rather than pay before exit now! Which is a bit annoying...
Better if you drive into it by mistake instead of getting onto the inner ring road though, not that I've ever done this you understand, you'd have to be an idiot to do that. £3.50 for the day to park on gravel down in the depths of Holbeck - you risk never seeing your car again and have to walk into Leeds but a saving is a saving.
I usually just take the plunge and go in the gravel car park behind the Corn Exchange next to Cattlegrid - the machine breaks sometimes and you can put your money in, it registers and then gives you it back again.

That's better than the meters behind where the little argos used to be on the road, £5 or so for a couple of hours. Wouldn't take some 2013 10p coins, not enough for the time we need, so cancel it for a refund, except it wont give a refund, so it stole £4.60 instead.

I work next to those (City Walk) and I've stopped using the ones near Halfords due to the sheer mess of mud and gravel and also because of the lowlife I've seen walking through it. It wouldn't be so bad if they even patrolled it, but they don't.There's also the square RCP pay and display right outside my office window (Sweet Street), but despite levelling it it's again like a mudpit and knee deep in water. However the worst thing is that the attendant, big black fella, must be on commission or something cos he crams the cars in so close - I (and quite a few people where I work) have had rows with him about it. One of my workmates had to get his car out by going through the boot recently. I won't put my car in there anymore.
I now park in the Round Foundry car park, behind the Midnight Bell pub. Proper car park, surfaced, nice space between them, overlooked by nice offices, attendant etc. Well worth the extra quid fifty at a fiver.
New parking charges planned for the currently free evening and Sunday council spaces - a nominal amount but all the same it will only boost profits at places like the White Rose and impact smaller independents in the city.

Agreed, very much a fan of their work - excellent food in general but the ribs are the best I've had anywhere.
