they are all mediocre at best, flaming dragon was ok when they used to bring round a leg of lamb and calve off chunks, but it's again ok at best, have a wonder round, don't expect any of them to knock your socks off!

We usually goto bella italia or ask when we frequent the cinema and are peckish....

Half a mile up the road to Leeds/Cas is http://www.easterncourt.com/
which is pretty good - you wander round the buffet & get what you want - for the main course you select the items & a guy fries them up in a huge wok with what looks like a jet exhaust - I like the prawn with Szechuan sauce! If you go do me a favour & ask for a jug of tap water & have an argument about no I don`t want bottled water...
You also get to use a Mr Whippy type ice cream machine!

We go there regularly, close to us. I like them all. Frankie and Bennies is good but my curernt fave is the place opposite Frankies. Dunno what its called, its quite small but rather nice for a nice but fast foodie type dinner.

TGI's is always packed to the rafters.

They are all big chain restaruants so in line with anywhere else in the country in terms of quality.

biggrin

Is that the burger joint? Might give it a go if it is recommended!

Yeah thats the one. It might be called Giraffe or something. Or I might have made that up.

Used to go to the gym there - was quite busy at peak times. Only cost about £100 for the year and its pretty big. You can get in via the rear entrance and there is a car park at the back next to it, so no need for the iron men to walk past the chubby shops and bars. biggrin

I went a month or two back.. I won't go back.

Although the food was nice, the portions were small for the price.

The service on the other hand was dreadful.. Sat down for 5 minutes before we had to actually ask for a drink.

I'll stick to TGI in the future, or Nandos if I'm in a rush!
