New speed humps in York :-(

Hi all looking for a list off drivers with cars that can't get over the new traffic calming alterations on Huntington road at the apartment development were sessions printers was . The developers have had planning issued with no public consultation . The chicane s have been removed and 6 rubber humps have been bolted to the road in place . While talking to the developers on site one admitted to a Audi r8 grounding out yesterday and also admitted that the traffic flow has noticeably speeded up As vans and wagons straddle the humps So not even slowing down so how's this traffic calming all this will do is reck our pride n joys Hope you Tvr drivers n lotus n kit car n low slung car owners gonna help only want sensible responses as planning to forward to the highways department

No access to punctuation ? N why not use and instead on n ? My lad reckons they won't cause him a problem on his push bike.

Quick update I've spoken to york council there tempoary A planning application for the humps was put in by the developer while the housing development is built. the consultation period for what ever ends up there is end of February With completion by the end off march ( on speaking to the staff on the building site they commented that a lot off people had complained about the humps and also that traffic ie wagons /vans were travelling noticeably faster past the site ) iff this is so why waste our money fitting the humps ?

Let's be honest a few extra speed humps are neither here nor there where York is concerned. It's grid locked. The whole city is a joke to navigate around and is bottlenecked on every route in and out.
