Mrs Chev and I are moving house shortly and are currently on the look-out for a decent removals comapny. Anyone able to comment positively or negatively on any Yorkshire-based firms?

Any help much appreciated.

We used McCarthy's, based Leeds and Harrogate and they were spot on.

I printed a small brochure for George Pickersgills in Saltaire
and they had some cracking testimonials - some we used in the brochure.

Also full range of sizes of vehicles and decent people to deal with

Thanks, fellas - really apprciate it. We'll get quotes from both those firms and see how we go from there. Always good to get a recommendation when it comes to shifting all your treasured possessions.

Last time I moved was six years ago and I did it myself with a friend and a Transit. Way too much stuff to consider doing the same this time. Just the thought of actually moving makes me shudder.
