I have a meeting at York Hospital in the next few days
and wondered if any Yorkies could tell me what parking is like there?

Easy or dreadful or not bad?

I have a meeting at 2.30pm

Thanks
Richard

Hi, i was there a few months back and the car park is now a multi storey, parking is a lot better now, but you still have to pay.

Hello - had to go there myself a few times & there is a new multi storey with a decent pay as you exit scheme. The streets around are crammed with cars but there is a council car park just a short distance away - Union Terrace. The prices for York parking are awful so I think I`d recommend going to the very top of the Hospital car park where you`ll get a good view of the city!

Thanks guys

Parking is expensive everywhere (except Welsh Hospitals don't charge!!!)

Will try the top floor for the view as well!!!!

Cheers

I took my wife a few months ago, dropped her off at the main entrance and parked round the back of the hospital.

Two parking guys walked round and told me that I was parked in a staff area, I apologised and explained I was waiting for my wife, they said that's ok just stay then!
But they were ticketing other cars, so be warned.

Don't do it. It can be a nightmare trying to get in, never mind out if its busy. I park at Union Terrace and walk.

Thanks again guys

It was busy but got in the multi storey quite easily
(I can imaging the horror before that was built!!!)

£4 as I was just over 2 hours was a bit extortionate though!!!

At least I think I got the work I was after - so worth the trip

Cheers
