I need to move my Tuscan Racer from the garage to a barn approximately 100m away. Last time I moved it, I dragged it with 1ton excavator, which was relatively straightforward as the car has no engine or 'box. A better option might be to trailer it round.

Anyone know of a friendly local service in York for either option? It is probably only an hour of work.

Thanks

Can't you just tow it?

Good point. Having had the grass reseeded, I was hoping to avoid destroying it by towing it across this time. An excavator and rolling chassis will just about be okay, but a Land Rover or equivalent towing will furrow it.

How soon do you need this doing? I have a covered race trailer with an electric winch, but my own race car is in it. Talk to John Waggit at Sports & Specialist Car Company in Boroughbridge. He's always got a trailer handy and is a TVR man. Craig, one of the partners at Track v Road in Clitheroe has a flat open car transporter and lives in York.

As a side, which Tuscan race car is this and what is its history? I'm looking for a 2nd (project) Tuscan race car.
Feel free to PM me.

Can you not get a few mates round and push it? 100 meters isn't that far.
