Places to eat in Filey

Yes - I know there's Tripadvisor, but I'd appreciate some local suggestions.

We'll be staying for a weekend and have already booked San Marco for one of the meals - need another suggestion close to the centre (i.e. we don't want to drive). Looking for a good pub/restaurant/curry house - is the Tapas place any good?

We go to a cafe across the road from the Tapas and the cafe owner says its very good. In fact he eats there. Have not tried it myself

Fish and chips from the Brown room were delicious

Thanks - looks like it's Tapas and San Marco then - not there long enough to do fish and chips as well

Sorry I am too late for your weekend away but maybe next time - the Downcliffe Arms Hotel on the front is superb, especially the fish.
