Any recommendations of garages in/around Leeds that do proper Geo / 4 wheel alignment for my BMW M3?

Ideally looking for a suspension specialist who can do for fast road setup (not track), but not just generic alignment.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

They are not exactly Leeds, but can’t be much more than 1 hour away, Track Torque Racing at Tockwith.

https://www.tracktorque.co.uk/

They did a full camber/caster toe in and out and ride height setup on my Ferrari 348 including shims on the rear for the camber adjustment.

I also have a M3, but have used a more local bmw specialist for that as only needed a standard alignment, using a Hunter aligner which I’m sure you can get at some of the Leeds based bmw specialists.

Have a chat with the guys at Track Torque pretty sure as they run and support race cars for various race series they can work out a fast road setup for your requirements.

Thanks - that’s a good shout and they’re not far from my brother-in-law in York.

Who did your standard alignment in Leeds out of interest as that may actually be all I need - plus one of my front alloys always struggles to balance so I’ve been looking for someone with a Hunter road force machine for a while.

It wasn’t in Leeds, it was a specialist in Hull (Hessle) as I’m in Beverley, but still only 1 hour ish for you, it’s the right side of Hull not far from where all the car garages are and Sainsbury.

Autologic

Chap called Lee who owns the place did mine. He’s had a Hunter aligner for years and weighs the cars down correctly. He’s not cheap but knows what he’s doing, he was himself running an M6, and a Z4M last time I was there.

Forgot to say you might have a buckled alloy if it struggles to balance, when I had my Alloys refurbed they found a bent wheel and it was straightened during the diamond cutting refurb.

Also most main bmw dealers apparently have a hunter aligner I know Stratstone Hull does, so I guess Leeds might as well?

I have suspected a buckled wheel as it does gradually lose pressure and it’s booked in for wheel refurb in 2 wks so I’ll know more then.

Novaks in Wakefield do custom geo setups I believe. Always sorted my stupid lowered vehicles that are generally massively out of whack...

Atec-Align in Huddersfield are very good. Does pretty much only alignment and is happy to discuss and talk you through the process. Reasonable costs too.

I recently took my car here based on previous recommended places on an old PH thead.

Not too far from Leeds and I believe they do custom set ups.

Another for Atec- Align, his work is solely alignments and he’s very busy, a good eye for detail and will talk you through the process, it’s one of the first places I visit when I get a new vehicle

That recommendation may have come from me. Was a couple of years ago now, but these guys did an excellent job on my Evora when others had failed.

I used these guys this week for tyre change, and upgraded suspension followed by 4 wheel geo. Excellent communication and really nice team. There were some lovely motors in there as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
