Brake Caliper Refurbishment

Any recommendations for where to get a set of calipers refurbished in Leeds or surrounding areas? Don t mind posting them further afield provided the price and service is right. Bonus points if they can refurbish wheels as well

As a franchise The Wheel Specialist doesn’t have the best reputation, but their Garforth branch has done great wheel refurbs for me three times now. I believe they do caliper painting too.

I would avoid The Wheel Specialist TBH they damaged one of my wheels and then denied it and became rather aggressive

These guys did a great job on my RS6 calipers a few years ago.

Yeah, the last set I had done by them had a poor finish. One wheel looked like what you’d imagine would happen if you got drops of silicon spray on the wet finish - half a dozen imperfections.

Ian and Ben Jemison at https://www.alloywheelrepairs.com/ are excellent. They are based in York, so not far from Leeds, and well worth the travel.
I have used them over the last 20years to repair varying degrees of damaged wheels used in motorsport, know plenty of people that also use them regularly for motorsport and road wheel repairs and refurbishments, as well as other vehicle engineering services, and they have a great reputation locally and nationally within the motorsport community, particularly rallying.
I expect they will be more than willing, and know they are more than capable, to refurbish your calipers as well, offering full vehicle engineering and build services.
