B1248 Kilham to Malton closed Sun 25th March

Was out for a play on the bike and couldn't take my favourite route.

Does anyone know why the road was closed?

Police had shut the road at Bainton roundabout around 12 out for a spin myself Beverley - Wetwang, had to cut it short, though my present car - polo gti was a bit dissapointing after the mcs. Need to get something better and soon.
