Hi, my mate is going to have a look at a VX220 later today and I was going to go look at it with him. Is there anything specific to look out for or be wary of on them when buying a used one? I know a few of you on here own them.

Cheers
Jon

Make sure you pull the carpets back to check for water under them. If there is any then they are likely to leak. All of them leak to a certain extent, but water under the carpets usually means they leak a fair bit. Ask the seller if it's had its Turbo Seals done (to reduce amount of leaking) if its an NA.

There's a buyers guides and heapsof info on the vx220 forum that I'm sure will cover everything you need to look for... http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic...

I have a 52 plate NA with 11.5k on the clock. After 12k which is probably a bit more than some on classifieds but its dry stored/immaculate etc etc Not got it advertised at the moment but was thinking of putting it up in august. If he turns up with 12k in used twentys this weekend I might be tempted wink

I've met bren and seen this car at a meet last summer, it was in imaculate condition and the fact he's taken it to Courtenay's for tuning and Plan's for Geo speaks volumes.

then again so Firdaynight's, I don't know anyone else who cleans inside his wheel arches if the car gets wet.tongue out
